Crooked Run Cottage is located on 8 beautiful acres in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia near Basye and not far from Interstate 81. We are a very small in home breeder with only a couple of litters a year.
Four precious Maltese have the run of the house and grounds. The fenced in yard allows them to enjoy the great outdoors even though when they come back inside they are a grooming nightmare. Most of the year their coats are cut short to accommodate their fun loving spirit and lifestyle.
Sophie is a little over 5lbs but is quite a spitfire. Her pedigree is quite impressive with many champions in her line. She was shown as a puppy and showed great potential.
Brutus is the newest addition. He, like Sophie has an impressive pedigree. He was not expected to weigh over 4 lbs. as an adult but now weighs in at a healthy 7 lbs!
Sweet Charlie is the nicest of them all and was shown as a puppy. He has an adorable little face and weighs a little over 5 lbs.
Paris was the first Maltese to join the family. Her Dad "Bogie" was a show dog. She is the largest, weighing around 8 lbs.
All of them are healthy, happy, affectionate and playful. They are equal members of the family in every way.
The Maltese is a very sweet, trusting and loyal dog and deserves nothing less then to be pampered by their human owners.
Therefore, we are dedicated to finding the best homes for our puppies. A home environment that is full of love and respect is a requirement.

All puppies come with a health guarantee, will have received their first series of puppy shots, and be dewormed,
Our puppies come with no baggage. They are loved and well cared for from the minute they are born. They live on our sun porch and are exposed to all normal daily activities,
Puppies will be available for adoption between 8 - 10 weeks of age depending upon their physical and emotional maturity,
